2/17/2009 Lisa Quan still appointed to Fremont Planning Commission

Lisa Quan was appointed to the Planning Commission Tuesday 2/17/2009, but the vote wasnt unanimous. Councilmember Bob Wieckowski voted No. It was a 4-1 vote.

Her nomination to the planning commission raised eyebrows earlier this month, when her organization's most recent newsletter printed that she "will be appointed by Mayor Bob Wasserman to fill the coveted position," even though Wasserman hadn't announced her nomination and the City Council hadn't voted on it.
