Protest today, meeting Thursday about Niles Canyon 'safety' project

I just wanted to make sure people were aware of a project going on in Niles Canyon on Route 84.  This project will take the scenic Niles Canyon two-lane road and turn it into a high speed roadway complete with the large, ugly fake rock walls.  This is a ridiculous use of taxpayer money in these tight economic times. There's a protest today at 3 p.m. at Niles/Mission.  There's also a meeting on Thursday, April 14, from 6:30-8:30 pm, at the Fremont Teen Center, 39770 Paseo Padre Parkway, in…See More
