Fremont Citizens Network

Join together to stand up for school children by calling the
California Governor’s office, Wednesday, May 19, 2010 between the hours
of 9 am and 4 pm.

Wherever you are, take just 5 minutes to pick up the phone and dial 916-445-2841; choose which language
to continue in, then when prompted press 6 to speak to a representative.
They will simply listen to what you have to say and will write down
your comments. It is easy and should not take long at all.

Struggling with what to say?

-- Ask the Governor and his education team to visit the Race to Nowhere website (www.RacetoNowhere.com) and view the
film.

AND, voice your concerns about cuts to Education and urge them to make reforms to our
educational system that ensure our children get a QUALITY education with
QUALITY teachers.

-- Urge the Governor and his team to get our fair share of the $4.3 billion Federal RACE TO THE TOP Funding.(deadline to apply = June 2010)

AND

-- Ask the team to view the link to the film trailer, The Cartel
