Dear FCN Members,
The following notice was sent by the City to the people who are interested in getting an update on the NUMMI site and the response from MLB to the City's proposal. Please attend this very important meeting to understand what the latest update is from the City and to learn about the official response by MLB which will determine the next steps for the Stadium plan.

Notice to Interested Parties for April 13, 2010 City Council meeting

At the April 13, 2010 City Council meeting, a Report on NUMMI Site Reuse and Revitalization Activities Including Response to Interest by Major League Baseball in Possible Establishment of a Fremont Ballpark will be presented to the City Council.

The City Council meeting will begin at 7 pm in the City Council Chambers, 3300 Capitol Avenue.

The NUMMI site reuse in on section 7.1 (pages 27-30).

"Since June 18, 2009, a total of $158,814 has been expended in response to initial inquiries by MLB about a ballpark at the NUMMI site; in preparation of the City’s Conceptual Approach; and for follow-up efforts in January and February 2010. These costs included consultants from Barrett Sports Group, Jacobs Chase, Gensler Architecture (which also included related costs for Bernards Engineering), and Erickson Beasley Hewitt."
